The Kings Head is a grade II listed 16th century posting inn. It is one of the oldest public houses in the town of Bridgnorth. It was formally known as The Kings Head Railway & Posting House and was probably rebuilt from the remains of a building destroyed by a fire in 1646 when parliamentarian forces bombarded the town. The earliest mention of the building is in 1777 and it was first licensed in 1780. In 2005 Richard Beaman lovingly refurbished and restored the whole property keeping all the original characterful feature of the stunning Tudor property. It is now a family run business championing local supplier’s and showcases what Shropshire has to offer.
